as i said, it was easy. it's obviously a matter of guest OS keymap configuration (localectl set-keymap in CentOS 7). i dared to ask because i found configuration stanzas for qemu like <graphics type='spice' port='-1' autoport='yes' keymap='de'/> via google. i don't know if this is obsolete, i was suspicious from the beginning that there is no configuration option in oVirt... matthias
