When ever I try to look at the storage on any host they all have none and
the above message pops up.

Please check/post /var/log/ovirt-engine/* from the engine machine and
/var/log/vdsm/* from a failing host. Thanks.

gluster node log.
I cleared this on all nodes by deleting logical volume info and then pv
info via the cli on the second disk, then all disks could be synced and
seen.
