Cockpit is a control panel for server management. The virtualization is only a part of it. You can have both Cockpit and oVirt installed on the same server, as they serve for different purposes. If you already use KVM and have any VM running, installing oVirt over it may cause some trouble. I suggest starting with a clean server using the self hosted engine.
