I have mentioned in the bug report that it seems related to that bug.
However, unlike that bug there is no workaround for libgfapi since the
permissions are lost on every restart of VM.

Hi ,
I'm observing the same problem using oVirt 4.3.1 .
The ownership of the VM disk changes to root:root every reboot.
