Hello on ovirt manage engine, based on CentOS stream 8: python3 3.6.8 is end of life. this is a security vulnerability, yum update do not find the new 3.10 ver. please advise how to upgrade it manually. thanks Ariel

Hi, the support should be determined by the Red Hat support, the python3 pacakges have a lifespan same as rhel8, so 2029. I also have a couple of python3.8 packages on my ovirt-engine from the 3.8 module, that one is supported until may 2023. So I don't think this is something that needs to be adressed right now. https://access.redhat.com/support/policy/updates/rhel-app-streams-life-cycle Greetings Klaas

Correct, this is a bug in the tool reporting a security issue. Nir
