Hi all, Brian Proffitt has kindly offered to refresh the documentation on ovirt.org to version 4.2 (it's currently a mix of 4.0 + whatever people have updated since.) Other than the main 'official' documentation, I noticed that there is a lot of documentation on separate sites. For example, imageio, mom, all of the OST stuff, etc. For now there are no plans for any of this extra stuff, but in the future it should probably all look the same. Can you share ovirt documentation sites that you know of? Best wishes, Greg -- GREG SHEREMETA SENIOR SOFTWARE ENGINEER - TEAM LEAD - RHV UX Red Hat NA <https://www.redhat.com/> gshereme@redhat.com IRC: gshereme <https://red.ht/sig>

Okay, pending a review and merge for the last three on this list, all of the documentation that is currently sitting in ovirt.org has been updated to 4.2: Updated: oVirt Installation Guide oVirt Upgrade Guide oVirt Administration Guide oVirt Virtual Machine Management Guide oVirt Introduction to the Administration Portal (Awaiting review/merge) oVirt Self-Hosted Engine Guide (Awaiting review/merge) oVirt Data Warehouse Guide (Awaiting review/merge) These documents appears to have been updated to 4.2 already: Quick Start Guide oVirt Gluster Hyperconvergence Guide oVirt Orb Added: oVirt Metrics Store Install Guide (Awaiting review/merge) It would help if you all could identify and prioritize any other downstream RHV documents for us to convert/edit. Thanks, Brian On Sun, Jul 29, 2018 at 2:25 PM Greg Sheremeta <gshereme@redhat.com> wrote:

Thank you very much Brian and Shaun for this documentation update! I would say: - Disaster Recovery Guide <https://access.redhat.com/documentation/en-us/red_hat_virtualization/4.2/html/disaster_recovery_guide/> - Introduction to the VM Portal <https://access.redhat.com/documentation/en-us/red_hat_virtualization/4.2/html/introduction_to_the_vm_portal/> Ondra, do you think we should get also SDK guide ported to oVirt doc?
Thanks, Brian

I'll have a PR for the Metrics User Guide by the end of the day tomorrow. Then I think I can knock out both of these next week, assuming they're not terribly large or complex. -- Shaun
