add /etc/default/version.$(PACKAGE) as:

PACKAGE=@PACKAGE_NAME@
VERSION=@PACKAGE_RPM_VERSION@
RELEASE=@PACKAGE_RPM_RELEASE@

to enable software to detect plugin version while running on node.
