Support loader_main method for pipelines

The new method allows pipeline scripts to:
1. Get the loader script itself as a parameter and gain access to its
   methods
2. Have the 'main' method run outside of the loader node

Also added a checkout_repo method to the loader that should be useful
for pipeline scripts.
