Hi,
I got the same error with rhel 6.5 after installing the security updates "java-1.7.0-openjdk-devel" and "java-1.7.0-openjdk".
So I "yum downgrade"ed them:
rpm -qa | grep java-1.7.0-openjdk
java-1.7.0-openjdk-1.7.0.55-2.4.7.1.el6_5.x86_64
java-1.7.0-openjdk-devel-1.7.0.55-2.4.7.1.el6_5.x86_64
and now it works.
FYI
