Eyal, this is a valid option, and even for the job in question we'd need to mirror the following repos:

CENTOS_MIRROR="http://centos.mirror.constant.com/"
EPEL_MIRROR="http://mirror.switch.ch/ftp/mirror"
FEDORA_MIRROR="http://mirrors.kernel.org/"
GLUSTER_MIRROR="http://download.gluster.org"
JPACKAGE_MIRROR="http://vesta.informatik.rwth-aachen.de/ftp/pub/comp/Linux/"
COPR="http://copr-be.cloud.fedoraproject.org/results"

So it's at least CentOS, Fedora (2-3 releases), EPEL, Gluster and jpackage. We'd need to maange all of these and if upstream produces a corrupted repo this will still be mirrored. I think 1TB of disk should be enough for this (I managed a Fedora+CentOS+EPEL mirror without ISOs and that was usually enough).
