[Users] Unable to Adding Local host issue

This is what works for me: 

Edit: 

/usr/share/ovirt-engine/scripts/plugins/ all_in_one_100.py 

file and edit the waitForHostUp function so that the timeout is bigger. Like this: 
def waitForHostUp(): 
utils.retry(isHostUp, tries=40, timeout=300, sleep=5) 
In the all-in-one howto jbrooks says that step is not fatal but it was for me, the trick above did work for me. 

Take into account that you probably have to run: 
engine-cleanup 
before running engine-setup and that the commands might delete previous customisations if you have ever done anyone.
