It seems solved with the rpms packaged as in

ovirt-engine-cli-2.1.3-1.fc16.noarch.rpm
ovirt-engine-sdk-1.6.2-1.fc16.noarch.rpm

at least with the basic run of
$ ovirt-shell --help
and
$ ovirt-shell
