[Users] How can I modify the vm template?

I have a win7 vm created from a win7 template. You know, microsoft has a lot of bugs and I need to fix them through their patches. 
So I want to use this method to save manpower.
Also, I manage a lot of vms and some of them want to batch to install a new software(office,player etc.).So I want to change the template.
