> You can try to detach the disk from the VM and attach it to another VM.

First check the image integrity by running "qemu-img check <image_path>" 
command
against it. "qemu-img" also has option to correct the corruption if 
there is any.

You can use "*libguestfs"* to access data from virtual machine (VM) disk 
images.
