Are "ksmtuned" and "tuned" different?
# cat /etc/redhat-release
CentOS release 6.5 (Final)
# service --status-all | grep tuned
ksmtuned (pid 10438) is running...
# chkconfig | grep tuned
ksmtuned 0:off 1:off 2:off 3:on 4:on 5:on 6:off
