Hi,

I just wrote to the tracker which I think
is worth and possible to backport, here is the list
for greater visibility:

another call for backporting, as this is an easy fix
and I could track my debian vms more easily:

I don't know why this was retargeted to 3.5. when urgency was high,
maybe you can port it to 3.4.3:
