not without db intervention. I opened a bug [1] to change it so we would 
be able to reset the cluster value

meanwhile:

psql engine engine -c "update vds_groups set emulated_machine 
='${value}' where vds_group_id = '${vds_group_id}'"

if ${value} is blank than your emulated machine value would be a match 
between the config value and the host value
