Actually qemu-guest-agent IS available in the standard CentOS
distribution ( ATM
qemu-guest-agent-0.12.1.2-2.415.el6_5.6.{x86_64,i686}.rpm ).

Regarding ubuntu 12.04, isn't it  "Ubuntu Precise Pangolin LTS" (this
is from oVirt 3.4.0) ?
