[Users] Can I use couple nodes just for storage?

just add a new cluster, disable the 'virt' usage and enable the 
'gluster' usage in the cluster.
ovirt will not check for VT, then you can deploy hosts in this cluster 
to be configured as gluster nodes, configure bricks/volumes on them, and 
use that volume to create a gluster storage domain to run VMs on.
