could be a bug in docs or installation - once we'll get it working for you I'll see to it.

btw, change 'abs(0 - engine_host.max_scheduling_memory)' to  'sys.maxsize - engine_host.max_scheduling_memory'

you config ovirt engine with the ip of the proxy, or I'm missing sth.
ovirt communicates with the proxy and not the other way around.
