In [1] you have:

virsh -r capabilities > capabilities.xml && virsh -r cpu-compare capabilities.xml

That is, you dump capabilities to a file, then compare this file with the ones
found, which are obviously the same (ignoring potential libvirt bugs).

I suggested that instead, or in addition, you take from vdsm.log the xml of the
domain (lines 684-774 there), write that to a file, and run the above on this file -
say you wrote to vm1.xml, run

virsh -r cpu-compare vm1.xml
