no, it is not moVirt specific - you need to import the certificate to your device. You can do it by navigating to the
<engine url>/ca.crt from some browser on your device (e.g. chrome) and import it - it will ask you if you want to import it.

You can verify that the cert is imported by going to the settings->security->trusted credentials->user. 
Than you need to make sure that in moVirt settings you are setting the same url as the engine url as the cert name is set.

How does it behave? There is a known bug that when there is a long list of VMs the events are pushed out of the screen. But the VMs should still be scrollable...
