This will only tell you if the CPU supports virtualization - it may still
be disabled by the BIOS.
Looking at the KVM module is the best approach:
[root at reserved-0-250 lago]# lsmod |grep kvm
kvm_intel             167936  20
kvm                   499712  1 kvm_intel
