Linux isn't very happy when two NICs are on the same subnet, AFAIK, so
indeed, I would not recommend it.

No, those are Ethernet level issues.

Makes sense. If possible, I'd change this (routing-wise) and just reinstall
the host from the oVirt management. That would be the simplest approach.
(but again, I'd do it only after making sure the network is error free).
