[ovirt-users] unable to upgrade from ovirt 3.6 to 4.0.4

Hey all,
Im trying to upgrade my ovirt installation,
CentOS 7.2 fully updated

engine version: oVirt Engine Version: 3.6.7.5-1.el7.centos

hosts version:

RHEL - 7 - 2.1511.el7.centos.2.10
Kernel Version:
3.10.0 - 327.36.1.el7.x86_64
KVM Version:

SPICE Version:
0.12.4 - 15.el7_2.2
GlusterFS Version:

CEPH Version:


got the following error after deploying the backup tar (following this
guide http://www.ovirt.org/documentation/migration-engine-3.6-to-4.0/)

Failed to execute stage 'Setup validation': Trying to upgrade from
unsupported versions: 3.5
