gap between when the CI passed (Nov 21) and when it was merged (Nov 26). In

I noticed this by chance yesterday and merged [2] (which is listed as the
probable cause here, of all things!) to fix it.
The statement in parenthesis is not true - my apologies, wrong link
clicked.
Regardless, the rest of the analysis is correct, and the problem has
already been fixed. Engine develoeprs are advised to rebase on top of [2]
below.
Once the change queue catches up to this, you should be OK.
