We still have code to edit this file in engine-setup, but it's not really working anymore. First, it's deprecated: https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1332813 Also, we recently tried to see if it's still possible to use it, and it didn't work very well: https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1631258#c17 We should probably remove it some time, but it's not urgent.
