Shouldn't work if the nwfilter rules are enabled (which are by default)
true, but not relevant in this discussion, as changing mac means no external traffic. doesn't mean it is not what the guest reports via the guest agent. so guest can report ip per mac from guest agent regardless of vnic mac address.
