Hi, Roughly: 1. on command line, make clean install-dev PREFIX=$HOME/ovirt-engine DEV_EXTRA_BUILD_FLAGS="-Danimal.sniffer.skip -Dcheckstyle.skip -Dgwt.compiler.localWorkers=1" DEV_EXTRA_BUILD_FLAGS_GWT_DEFAULTS="-Dgwt.userAgent=safari" BUILD_UT=0 BUILD_GWT=1 BUILD_LOCALES=0 2. on command line, start engine. $HOME/ovirt-engine/share/ovirt-engine/services/ovirt-engine/ovirt-engine.py start 3. in Eclipse, select all projects on the left, Refresh. 4. In Eclipse, highlight webadmin project, Run > Debug Configurations > Remote Java Application > click the New icon, name it, port = 8787, Debug 4b. You might have to highlight your specific backend project instead of webadmin before doing the new debug configuration -- I haven't done it in years.
