Hello everyone, *big* thanks to Tomas, Daniel and Alex for taking their time and reviewing this monstrous patch, I've uploaded new patch set and (hopefully) addressed all remaining comments. The patch has been verified locally in both debug and web mode using FF10/Linux, no behavioral or visual regressions were detected during the initial testing. Hi Everyone,
Following the announcement below and the changes-overview session from a couple of days ago: The patch is now ready for review: http://gerrit.ovirt.org/#/c/16739/ The patch is quite huge and touches *a lot* of files, therefore it is expected to cause a bit of a rebase nightmare; so as I am sure that we all want to move to the new GWT-and-related dependencies, your prompt feedback (in an effort to merge the patch as soon as possible) will be highly-appreciated. TIA!
---- Regards, Einav

Hello everyone,
I wrote a wiki page to summarize our effort to upgrade existing UI technology stack shared by oVirt web applications:
http://www.ovirt.org/Features/GWT_Platform_Upgrade
The wiki page divides GWT and GWTP changes into Essential and Non-essential. All Essential changes will be part of the initial upgrade patch (currently in progress), all Non-essential changes will be addressed later on, based on their priority.
There's still one open issue (Essential change) related to GWTP framework, however we should come to a conclusion pretty soon. The corresponding (Essential change) patch will follow shortly after that.
Any feedback is greatly appreciated, let me know what you think.
Regards, Vojtech
