Are you talking about issuing an audit log message when installing a host ( / changing the host DC ) if there is a mismatch between the logical network definition and the actual host network configuration? yes, that is what i was referring to.

Perhaps we need a way on the host for the administrator to label a network so it is flagged by vdsm? For example on a RHEL/Fedora system you can use NM_CONTROLLED=no in the ifcfg-* files to tell network manager to ignore it.
Can you please elaborate on this?
