But that's only to the data domain. I don't see an option to upload anything to the export or ISO domains I like being able to upload to the export and ISO domains so i can attach to other data centers and switch between them as needed On Aug 25, 2016 1:01 PM, "Yaniv Dary" <ydary@redhat.com> wrote:
Once you upload a disk, you can use it for a VM, create a template from it or export it to export domain.

I see the option to upload a machines disk file into the Data storage domain under "disks" but I don't see an option to upload anything into the export or ISO domains. I am trying to upload a cloudforms OVA template image so I can use it as a template.
Has the ability to upload ISO's and images into the export domain been completed yet?

You should go to disk and use upload from top bar. Make sure you trust the engine CA in you browser and restart it prior to upload: https://${engine's_URL}/ovirt-engine/services/pki-resource?r esource=ca-certificate&format=X509-PEM-CA

Yaniv, I just upgraded my lab to oVirt 4.0.2.7 last night. I cannot find the image, or ISO uploader in the GUI anywhere.
Im assuming its in Storage -> EXPORT domain --> and then on the bottom pane somewhere.
Is there something I need to install to enable the GUI uploader?

Why not use the disk image uploader via the GUI to upload the OVA directly to a SD?

Hey all, I am using oVirt 4.0 and trying to upload an OVA into my export domain using the ovirt-image-uploader tool.
My Export domain is a local disk on the host, and is NOT using NFS. However, it seems the ovirt-image-uploader tool assumes my domain is NFS and it will give the following error:
ERROR: mount.nfs: Failed to resolve server None: Name or service not known
Is there a way to import OVA's in to the Export domain when its using a local disk?
