Hi all, Can someone please have a look and decide if this failure is reasonable? The screenshot of the failed "Open cluster list view" does not show anything suspicious at all [1], to me, but not sure how it should otherwise look - e.g. should it include a pointer, which might imply where we tried to move, etc. It timed out 3 minutes after a successful login [2]. If it's not supposed to include a pointer, perhaps we should try to make selenium do include a pointer in the screenshots - I have a feeling this can help debug other UI issues. But I don't know this code at all... Thanks and best regards, [1] https://jenkins.ovirt.org/job/ovirt-system-tests_standard-check-patch/17451/... it should have opened a Cluster screen, but it looks it’s stuck at the dashboard after login we likely have some (timing related perhaps) issues with navigation

Hi Didi, The issue is intermittent and quite rare actually. I tried to improve the way we click the left menu in this patch [1]. Please let me know in case the patch does not help and you encounter the problem again. 1: https://gerrit.ovirt.org/#/c/ovirt-system-tests/+/115451/ Thanks, Lucia On Mon, Jun 28, 2021 at 8:16 AM Yedidyah Bar David <didi@redhat.com> wrote:

Indeed. After my report yesterday morning I ran OST several more times and it always passed.
I tried to improve the way we click the left menu in this patch [1]. Please let me know in case the patch does not help and you encounter the problem again.

Thanks a lot! If it still does not help, do we have enough logs to help understand why? Also: perhaps if moving to the menu does not open it, we should move back elsewhere (e.g. to the page center) before retrying? I know that as a user I do this... (never wrote UI/selenium code, though). Best regards, -- Didi
