Main problem solved by https://gerrit.ovirt.org/#/c/84825/ (merged earlier today). We still have a problem if portMirroring is set on an existing vNIC of a running VM, most probably solved by https://gerrit.ovirt.org/#/c/84866/ but this can probably wait.
