STDCI-V2 doesn't change anything that is related to the code of the project (aka check-patch). As soon as mock_runner begins to run, it's exactly the same code as in V1. I failed on the same thing on a different patch, not sure if it means V2 has a bug or that it detects a real issue V1 doesn't.
