All latest version of supported distro at this moment (Fedora 23, Ubuntu 15.10, Debian 8, RHEL 7.2 and OpenSUSE Leap) have the configuration file (/etc/default/grub) and the kernel parameter (GRUB_CMDLINE_LINUX) to be configured.
