GUI Prototyping Tool

Hi, today I was looking for an Open Source GUI Prototyping Tool. Harshal already used Pencil http://pencil.evolus.vn/ which is also the best I found. Pencil is an Open Source tool supporting multi platforms (Windows, Linux, Mac). It looks like development of Pencil stopped in 2013. I installed it and made some basic tests. In my opinion it is sufficient for visualizing general UI concepts in Kimchi/Ginmger but not for more. My recommendation is to use it for these aspects. What is your opinion? Do you know other tools? Kind regards Jan

A feature that I really like about Pencil is that we can create our own components and easily share to different collaborators. Once we draw the basic Kimchi/Ginger elements and make it public, anyone could submit high fidelity mockups. Hi Samuel, Could you please share the components you have created. It will be helpful for us to create the UI mockups. Thanks, Atreyee On 8/11/2015 9:41 PM, Samuel Henrique De Oliveira Guimaraes wrote:

Hi Atreye, I haven't created any components for Wok and/or Kimchi on Evolus Pencil yet. What I meant is that we could draw our own templates and export them as Stencils / Templates like other frameworks have done: https://code.google.com/p/evoluspencil/downloads/list?q=label:Stencil I used Pencil on a previous project that I've collaborated with and I know that you can draw any shape, group them, add "states" (like pressed, on mouse over, etc), save it in your library and then export it as stencils. This exported library can be versioned (I used SVN and merge tools with no issues at all) if other people want to add or edit components, the output is just basic PNG and SVG compressed in a zip file. Hi Atreye, I am currently creating an initial UI Mockup using Pencil and have created a collection called Kimchi. I will provide this to the community within the next days. Jan On 08/18/2015 02:24 PM, Samuel Henrique De Oliveira Guimaraes wrote:
