you should download microcode from the intel web page and overwrite the /lib/firmware/intel-ucode or so...please check the readme. I'm going to check with Fedora mailing list about this... Another question: what should I see for a VM instead related to meltdown/spectre? Currently in "Guest CPU Type" in General subtab of the VM I only see "Westmere".. Should I also see anythin aout IBRS, etc...?
