But if you want to do this after engine-setup, you need to tweak a database entry. You could find an option_name called 'ApplicationMode' in the vdc_options table, change the value of the field to 255, then restart ovirt-engine service. Now you should able to manage both virt and gluster in oVirt. Just set check the gluster checkbox on the cluster edit page, put the > node/host into maintenance and reinstall it.
