Add compute nodes offline

Hi, when I add compute nodes, I do not intend to add compute nodes to the engine controller without connecting to the external network: An error has occurred during installation of Host node5.test.com: Failed to execute stage 'Environment customization': Cannot retrieve metalink for repository: Please verify its path and try again. Do I need to manually download some offline packages in this case?

Are you using ovirt-node, or plain os (el7)? The above error seems to be a result of bad yum repo file(s). You can simply remove it/them. If you use node, you should be set. If plain OS, you can try installing beforehand 'ovirt-host', I think this should be enough. If it's not, please check/share host-deploy logs - you should find there which packages are missing. Obviously, the engine will then not be able to know if there updates, so upgrades will be up to you to handle. Best regards, -- Didi

Ok, thank you very much. I use ovirt-node xilazz@126.com From: Yedidyah Bar David Date: 2019-02-25 16:34 To: zeng xiansheng CC: users Subject: Re: [ovirt-users] Add compute nodes offline On Mon, Feb 25, 2019 at 9:42 AM <xilazz@126.com> wrote:
