Self Hosted Engine - Migrate to another host

Hi, I deployed a new cluster following this guide https://www.ovirt.org/documentation/how-to/hosted-engine/#fresh-install Which are after a few failed attempts, finally seems to be up and running. I have added a couple of additional hosts to the cluster through the web0ui , but I can't update the current 'self hosting' host as the hosted-engine refuses to migrate. HostedEngine: - Cannot migrate VM. There is no host that satisfies current scheduling constraints. See below for details: - The host 3 did not satisfy internal filter HA because it is not a Hosted Engine host.. - The host 2 did not satisfy internal filter HA because it is not a Hosted Engine host.. - The host 1 did not satisfy internal filter Migration because it currently hosts the VM.. I trawled google for awhile and found this post https://www.mail-archive.com/users@ovirt.org/msg34847.html So I tried to enable 'HA Reservation', but I can't because host '1' can't be put into maintenance mode because HE can't migrate

Did you deployed the additional hosted-engine hosts from the engine? Could you please connect to that hosts and execute: hosted-engine --set-maintenance --mode=none
You probably hit this one: https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1353600

OK, please try directly exiting the local maintenance mode on the HE hosts.

Ok, I've been watching Logan's thread as well, I think I just found the hosted engine bit at the bottom of the new host dialog. I've removed a host and am just redeploying... On 19 September 2016 at 20:56, Maton, Brett <matonb@ltresources.co.uk> wrote:

Redeployed both additional hosts with hosted -> deploy set to on as per the image you attached to Logans thread, that has solved my 'immovable' hosted engine problem. Thanks On 19 September 2016 at 21:09, Maton, Brett <matonb@ltresources.co.uk> wrote:
