Recommendations for Storage Pool sizes

For example, right now I have a 3TB domain made up of 3 1TB luns. That dom= ain has about 200 thin disks created from it. When I want to add more space, is there any reason I should not simply incr= ease the existing pool? Or is it better to create a new pool?
