Add names: oVirt workshop attendees list

I've put together a simple spreadsheet on google docs to start gathering information on who the likely attendees for a workshop are. I realize that without a date and location in mind, it is hard to commit, so let's consider this to be a "firmly interested/likely" list at this point. I've requested Name, email, company, role, the name of any subproject or potential subproject the person is affiliated with, if any (Nogah, QEMU, etc.), and where they are located. If you're tentatively planning to attend, please add yourself, along with any team members who will also be likely to attend, or alternately share the link with those team members so they may add themselves. (URL REDACTED - INFO: http://lists.ovirt.org/mailman/project-planning/2011-September/000283.html) I'll add this link into our master document as well. Thanks, -Robyn

Hi all, If you plan on attending (definite or probable), please add your information to the spreadsheet that Robyn has put together this week. Choosing a suitable location for the workshop is dependant on this.. There is no sense in sending everyone back to the west coast of North America if most of the attendees are in Western Europe and the east coast of the U.S. Likewise, if most of the attendees are in Europe, then maybe coinciding with the conference in Prague would be a good idea. Jon, thx for taking the lead on this I believe we should also build an invite list, So around mid September, we have a list of communities, events and people to brief to promote the workshop, and invite. I suggest that people add who / where they can invite, and then put their name next to that, that they will invite. If you want to invite a group but are not the best person to do the invitation we can leave the second column bank so someone can volunteer. I believe we want to make the invatation to the workshop as broad as possible Then as Jon suggests we could use a 3rd column to indicate the geo concentration for that community. Thanks Carl. I've added myself and Alan Pevec (oVirt Node maintainer). I haven't talked to Alan about this, but depending on the location I'm sure he can come (and I'll talk with him about it to make sure) I also think it might be useful to have Dan Berrange come from the libvirt team. I'll add his name to the list. Ditto as with Alan, depending on when/where this is, I'm sure he can make it. Perry
