Hi Samuel,

Yeap! I agree it would be really good to have.
My only concerned is about browser support. From what I could see, the 
major problem will be with mobile browsers as no one seems to support it.

I'd say to implement that as an alternative and make sure the code will 
be safer enough to do not break anything while running on a browser that 
does not have Notifications support. And that case, from browser without 
Notifications support, what would be the default behavior? How is it today?
