qemu-img operations can take very long and there is currently no way to
see their progress.
It would be nice to include this patch to display the progress of a
qemu-img operation (uploaded in November):

Canceling the qemu-img task from Engine is also something that should be
addressed at some point.
'copyImage' tasks are displayed via vdsClient.
Is there any particular reason why a "Cancel" button was never added to
the Engine's Task list?

We are currently removing SPM and as part of that adding infra to track
progress.
After this we will begin adding progress bar for all storage related
actions.
