Infra meeting. What time works best for you?

This has come up a few times but always inside existing threads. What time is good for doing a meeting? Karsten 'quaid' Wade used whenisgood to get input on what time works best for everyone. http://whenisgood.net/yybbdkk I am not 100% sure what timezone I am seeing when I look at it. Since it doesn't tell you. I am in the EDT timezone and it is showing the first time as 6:00 AM and the last at 10:00 PM. If someone else outside my timezone can confirm they are seeing a diff range that would be great. Sense this has been floating around since June 5th I suggest we set a deadline. Lets say June 28th and we will plan the 1st meeting for July 2-6? Thanks Robert

I think we have confirmed that you all are seeing my timezone, which is PDT. (I thought it would adjust for people's local settings.) There is a separate thread going still where we have discussing the potential of 8 am PDT/11 am EDT, which is a bit late for IDT. Robert - is there any 10 am that works for you? This is all IRC, so it lends itself to multitasking-of-sorts. (I've run IRC meetings while being a passive participant on a separate teleconference call.) - - Karsten - -- Karsten 'quaid' Wade, Sr. Analyst - Community Growth Red Hat Open Source and Standards (OSAS) http://TheOpenSourceWay.org @quaid (identi.ca/twitter/IRC) | gpg: AD0E0C41 -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.4.12 (GNU/Linux) Comment: Using GnuPG with Mozilla - http://enigmail.mozdev.org/ iD8DBQFP5e2h2ZIOBq0ODEERAvm0AJ9Y//3C99Un4PH+T1S/A+93SQ2zSwCgjq6Y nXNZrwvK91B3ImmAb34PRso= =rlL+ -----END PGP SIGNATURE-----

My standing meeting is 11:00AM - Noon on Tuesday's (It was recently changed from 10:00 AM) outside of that I have enough flexibility I can attend a meeting from 10:00 AM EDT to 1:00 AM EDT.

The only question left is Ewoud - are you able to make a meeting at 7 am PDT/10 am EDT Mon, Tue, or Thu? We can expect there will always be people who cannot make some or all of our meeting times. This makes it imperative for us to follow good IRC meeting rules, be transparent, and follow the rule that all decisions are made or finalized on the mailing list so everyone has a voice. Looking at picking a day, does Tuesday work regularly? Thursday is another good option, since the full oVirt meeting is the same time on Wednesday. To try to draw this thread together, I propose the following meeting time: Tuesday, first time 2012-07-03 0700 PDT 1000 EDT 1400 UTC 1700 IDT Starting next week since we're close to the time to start this week, and I'd like to participate but cannot because I am in a meeting at the time tomorrow. I don't expect $dayjob to interfere since 16:00 CEST is towards the end of the day.

Tuesday, first time 2012-07-03 0700 PDT 1000 EDT 1400 UTC 1700 IDT I added this to the meeting list on the wiki Starting next week since we're close to the time to start this week, and I'd like to participate but cannot because I am in a meeting at the time tomorrow.
To see the date and time as it appears in your own timezone, date -d '2012-07-03 1400 UTC' I tweak this to date -d '2012-07-03 1000 EDT' so it would adjust for US timezone changes.
For anyone who cannot make that meeting time, we will work to make sure the log and notes are sufficient, and decisions come back here to be made.

Ah, thank you - I don't need to since my local timezone settings follow US daylight savings, but it's a good point to practice for the project. - - Karsten - -- Karsten 'quaid' Wade, Sr. Analyst - Community Growth Red Hat Open Source and Standards (OSAS) http://TheOpenSourceWay.org @quaid (identi.ca/twitter/IRC) | gpg: AD0E0C41 -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.4.12 (GNU/Linux) Comment: Using GnuPG with Mozilla - http://enigmail.mozdev.org/ iD8DBQFP6Jhp2ZIOBq0ODEERAtNkAKCgw/jZ/AE//way6EkfOUUmUcbwRgCcDb4d CjmBahuFOjtVbJP7cVArFn4= =Uts2 -----END PGP SIGNATURE-----
