Hi,
My name is Penghua and I am currently trying to install Kimchi to my server. My OS is RHEL
6.6.
I followed the instruction from Github and I thought I have installed it successful. By
using Firefox, I could log in but there was no 'Virtualization' tab. Then I found
the logo on the left up corner showed 'Wok' rather than 'Kimchi'. So I
know the installation might have some problem. Can you help me?
Also, I attached a screenshot with this email to show the situation.

Hi Penghua,
send us your access-log and error-log. Maybe you forgot to run
./autogen.sh --system on Kimchi code, which is responsible for
Virtualization Tab.

Hi Penghua,
did you install Kimchi in wok/src/wok/plugins ?
Seems that you have installed only Wok. In order to run Kimchi you need
3 components:
1- Wok [The web server]
2- Gingerbase [It is a Wok plugin that provide some functionalities to
Kimchi]
3- Kimchi [Kimchi plugin itself]

Hi Penghua,
First of all, let me clarify some things.
Before Kimchi 2.0, Kimchi was a web application to manage KVM guests.
Which means, it was responsible to setup the web server and load the
Kimchi UI and features.
For Kimchi 2.0, the web server was separated from Kimchi code,
originating Wok. Wok is a web framework based on plugins. And Kimchi is
now a Wok plugin.
Because that, you see the Wok name and logo there
Are you running Wok from source code?
Kimchi depends on Wok and Ginger Base. From the screenshot you sent, I
see the Ginger Base tabs, so apparently you have installed it
successfully in addition to Wok.
Have you also installed kimchi ? Any issues with dependencies?
If you have installed kimchi package, seems it is not being loaded by
Wok for some reason.
Could you send us the wok logs?
Or stop the wokd service (service wokd stop) and run it manually:
wokd --environment=dev
the "--enviroment=dev" is for getting more logs. You can copy/paste the
command output.
To stop wokd you started manually, only do Ctrl+C.
