[JIRA] (OVIRT-1348) upstream re-basing capability
by Gil Shinar (oVirt JIRA)
Gil Shinar created OVIRT-1348:
---------------------------------
Summary: upstream re-basing capability
Key: OVIRT-1348
URL: https://ovirt-jira.atlassian.net/browse/OVIRT-1348
Project: oVirt - virtualization made easy
Issue Type: Task
Reporter: Gil Shinar
Assignee: infra
The new STD-CI stage actually adds the capability of "rebasing"
prerequisite repositories on top of current one.
That way one won't need to have duplications in two repositories.
Whenver he'll want to work on the current repo, the rebasing
will take place and copy all the files he needs in order to
work.

Which is the official oVirt docker repository, 'ovirt' or 'ovirtorg'?
by Juan Hernández
Hello,
Both exist:
https://hub.docker.com/u/ovirt
https://hub.docker.com/u/ovirtorg
The first, 'ovirt', has some branding, but it is empty, no images.
The second, 'ovirtorg', has no branding, but hosts some images.
Which one should we use to publish our official images? I'd like to
start publishing the images that we are building for the engine? Who has
the credentials for that?
Thanks in advance,
Juan Hernández

[JIRA] (OVIRT-1069) Make CI information available to scripts in standard CI
by eyal edri [Administrator] (oVirt JIRA)
eyal edri [Administrator] reassigned OVIRT-1069:
------------------------------------------------
Assignee: Daniel Belenky (was: infra)
> Make CI information available to scripts in standard CI
> -------------------------------------------------------
>
> Key: OVIRT-1069
> URL: https://ovirt-jira.atlassian.net/browse/OVIRT-1069
> Project: oVirt - virtualization made easy
> Issue Type: New Feature
> Components: Jenkins
> Reporter: Barak Korren
> Assignee: Daniel Belenky
> Labels: mock_runner.sh, standard-ci
>
> Right now scripts running in standard-CI have no information about the environment they are running in. This is by design, because the scripts are supposed to behave the same if they are running locally or on a Jenkins slave.
> But there are cases where letting the script know it is running in CI is useful. For example - to make it use the package mirrors in the CI system instead of getting packages over the internet.
> It seems that essentially all the information that is passed to '{{mock_runner.sh}}' on the command line should be made available to the automation script as environment variables. Additionally, information from Gerrit would probably also be useful.

[JIRA] (OVIRT-1342) Re: Java exception when pushing changes to Gerrit
by Barak Korren (oVirt JIRA)
Barak Korren commented on OVIRT-1342:
-------------------------------------
The error message quoted above is caused because the email of the person submitting the patch appears in two different accounts IDs. Our {{gerrit-dedup}} tool can fix that. This probably has nothing to do with the alerts from Icinga.

by Gil Shinar (oVirt JIRA)
Gil Shinar updated OVIRT-1345:
------------------------------
Resolution: Fixed
Status: Done (was: To Do)
There were no empty/duplicate commits but merged commits. The repo was configured to "merge if necessary" and I have changed it to "rebase if necessary"
