Kimchi 2.2 pre-installed images available.
by Paulo Ricardo Paz Vital
It's a pleasure to announce the availability of the Kimchi 2.2 pre-installed
images. A Kimchi pre-installed image is a QCOW2 image with Wok, Gingerbase and
Kimchi 2.2 on top of a fresh install distro.
The images with Kimchi 2.2 are available on top of:
* Fedora 23
* Ubuntu 16.04
* opensSUSE Leap 42.1
and you can easily grab the images from the following links:
* http://bit.ly/kimchi22_on_f23
* http://bit.ly/kimchi22_on_xenial
* http://bit.ly/kimchi22_on_leap
To use them, just decompress the images and create a VM pointing the default
storage to the image. All images have the user 'kimchi' added with the
password 'k1mch1' (same password for root). Don't forget to set up nested
virtualization to be able to start up Kimchi on the VM. Once running, point
your browser to the IP address of the VM on port 8000 (http) or 8001 (https)
and log in using 'kimchi' user.
Go ahead! Download the image with your preferred distro and test Kimchi NOW!
Best regards,
