[JIRA] (OVIRT-914) Better arch support for mock_runner.sh
by Barak Korren (oVirt JIRA)
Barak Korren created OVIRT-914:
----------------------------------
Summary: Better arch support for mock_runner.sh
Key: OVIRT-914
URL: https://ovirt-jira.atlassian.net/browse/OVIRT-914
Project: oVirt - virtualization made easy
Issue Type: Improvement
Components: Jenkins
Reporter: Barak Korren
Assignee: infra
We managed to us "{{mock_runner.sh}}" in multi-arch so far because it was flexible enough to allow us to select the chroot file.
The issue is that mock_runner does not actually *know* the arch we are running on so we can`t::
* do different mounts per-arch
* install different packages per-arch
* have different {{check_*}} scripts per-arch

> The {{nosync}} package can make mock faster by making it ignore all {{sync(2)}} calls.
> {{mock_runner.sh}} actually already enables this setting in the chroot configuration files, but it cannot work without the package.
> We need to check if this actually makes mock faster, and if so, add it to the slaves.

[JIRA] (OVIRT-912) Brand oVirt Gerrit

It is not branded - we need to brand it so it feels more like what it is - oVirt's development home.
We need to find ways to make people proud to belong to a project big enough to have its own code hosting, instead of constantly looking to GitHub. (Maybe this should be an epic)
Look at OpenStack's Gerrit for example: https://review.openstack.org/#/q/status:open
